Old Jerusalem Railway Station

The Jerusalem Railway Station c. 1900. The locomotive on the turntable is "Ramleh" (J & J No. 3), a Baldwin 2-6-0. The station was the terminus of the Jaffa–Jerusalem railway until its closure in 1998. Today, the station is abandoned and suffering from neglect and vandalism, although it is one of 110 buildings selected for preservation in Jerusalem. (click on blue words to follow the links)

Not all pow-wows are open to the public, but some pow-wows have open invitations that any one can attend; however, only certain people (people of American Indian tribes) participate in pow-wows unless who ever is in charge designates a time and place during the pow-wow for guests and visitors at an open invitation type of pow-wow to participate in the pow-wow.

Arabic Chat and Alphabet

“Evolution of early Arabic calligraphy (9th - 11th century). The Basmala was taken as an example, from kufic Qur’an manuscripts. (1) Early 9th century. script with no dots or diacritic marks; (2) and (3)9th - 10th century under Abbasid dynasty, the Abu al-Aswad's system establish red dots with each arrangement or position indicating a different short vowel. Later, a second black dots system was used to differentiate between letters like "fāʼ" and "qāf"; (4) 11th century, In Al Farāhídi's system (system we know today) dots were changed into shapes resembling the letters to transcribe the corresponding long vowels.”

Key Lime Pie

In cooking and baking, milk is used in different forms.

You can use either the condensed, evaporated, regular, or skim milk for Key Lime Pie depending on what caloric intake you want.

Key Lime Pie
There are several ways to make Key Lime Pie.
Here are three:

1 prepared 9-inch (9 oz.) graham cracker crust

1 1/3 cups (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

½ cup fresh lime juice (about three limes)

1 tsp. Grated lime peel

2 cups frozen nondairy whipped topping (thawed)

Whip sweetened condensed milk and lime juice in small mixing bowl until combined; stir in lime peel. Pour into crust. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until pie mixture/combination sets. Spread remaining whipped topping on top of pie prior to serving. Makes about 8 servings.
